CyclingNumerous competitive cyclists and triathletes as well as amateur cyclists have had their cycling technique assessed at Girton Physio. By far the most common area affected with cyclists is the knee joint.

The Sports Physiotherapist dealing with cycling injuries at the Clinic has specialised in biomechanical injuries. These are injuries caused by overuse or commonly misuse – a result of poor technique.

Cyclists are encouraged to bring their own bike into the Clinic and have it set up on the turbo-trainer. Technique can then be assessed using video technology and sports specific software.

Contact the Clinic to have your condition diagnosed – from there we can formulate a rehabilitation program to get you back on your bike.
